How are the vote percentages worked out?

Every percentage on this page comes from real votes cast inside the Would You Rather app, where players have recorded more than 1.1 billion votes across the full catalogue of dilemmas. Percentages are cumulative lifetime tallies, not snapshots: each dilemma's split is calculated from every vote it has ever received, and most questions on this page carry well over a million votes each, so no single vote can swing the result. Nothing is weighted, curated or edited — if the world split 70/30 on a dilemma, that is exactly how the world voted.
